Ayodhya: After getting the exemption in the fourth phase of lockdown, the work of barricading removal for the leveling of the 67-acre Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya has started once again. Soon the whole complex will be leveled, after which the preparations for the land worship will also begin. Meanwhile, during the leveling and excavation of the land, ancient sculptures and antiquities are being found.
According to Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Trust, the Yojanaas on the Ram temple are being worked on rapidly on the permission of DM AK Jha. This includes equalizing the land, removing old gangways. Champat Rai said that in the work being done on the Ram Janmabhoomi, full care is being taken of the safety of the workers, following rules such as masks and social distancing is being taken care of.
The General Secretary informed that 3 JCBs, 1 crane, 2 tractors and 10 laborers have been deployed in the leveling work. He said that the work of leveling has been going on since 11 May. The ASI was excavated at the behest of the High Court. A large number of idols of Goddesses, Gods, Kalash, Amalak Gorjamb, etc. have emerged in places around the place. So far 7 black stone pillars, 6 redsand stone columns, 5 foot carved Shivling and arch stones have been recovered.
According to Ramlala temple priest Acharya Satyendra Das, the JCB machine is going to finish the work soon but it will take a long time. The area is quite deep which can take time to level.
