New Delhi: Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait is now going to Gujarat, home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, to protest against the agricultural laws and will meet farmers during his two-day visit there and expose the misdeeds of the Modi government. Rakesh Tikait will remain in Gujarat till April 4 and 5. The Gujarat Congress has supported Rakesh Tikait’s two-day visit to Gujarat. Rakesh Tikait’s tractor journey will enter Gujarat from Abu Road.
Giving information in this regard, state president of Gujarat Congress Amit Chavda said that every citizen of the country is opposing this black law and is fighting for its return.
The peasant movement has been going on for more than four months. Farmers are opposing all the three agricultural laws brought by the Modi government. During this time more than 250 farmers who have been agitating have died. However, the central government has not been able to find a solution so far.
Gujarat Congress President Amit Chavda said that from the first day, the Congress has supported the peasant movement from Parliament to the road. Gujarat Congress had also submitted an application to the Governor on September 28, requesting the President to stop making it a law.
Amit Chavda said about Rakesh Tikait’s visit to Gujarat that the Congress has already been opposing this law all over the country. Rakesh Tikait is visiting Gujarat from tomorrow. He will be welcomed on the land of Gandhi-Sardar. Gandhi-Sardar’s land is the land of movement.
This Mahasammelan will be held on April 4 and 5, which will be started on Sunday in Gujarat with the darshan of Shaktipeeth Maa Ambaji. During this, Rakesh Tikait will address the farmers’ conference at Palanpur in Banaskantha district in Gujarat and Bardoli in south Gujarat. Former Chief Minister Shankarsinh Vaghela will also join him in this conference.
