News Desk – IAS officer in Pune, Dr. Puja Khedkar, has been transferred to Washim district following several complaints about misuse of power and have VIP Demands. The Pune Collector, Dr. Suhas Diwase, sent a letter regarding her behavior to the Chief Secretary and after that the decision has taken.
Dr. Khedkar, is from the 2023 batch of IAS officers, had been making demands. These included requests for special privileges like a government car with a VIP number plate, an official chamber with adequate staff, and personal security.
Additionally, she used a private car—an Audi—equipped with a red-blue beacon and a ‘Maharashtra government’ board.
Moreover, Dr. Khedkar occupied the office of the Additional Collector during his absence and rearranged it without permission.
Reportedly, Her father, a retired administrative officer, pressure on the Collector’s office to accommodate her demands.
These actions led to her reassignment where she will complete her probationary period as a supernumerary assistant collector in Washim.
