President Ram Nath Kovind donated 30% salary for one year in PM-CARS fund

New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind has decided to pay 30% of his salary for a year, after contributing one month’s salary to the PM-CARES fund in March. Earlier, President Ramnath Kovind announced to donate one month’s salary to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to fight the coronavirus. Along with this, he appealed to people to donate at this time of crisis.

Earlier, Rashtrapati Bhavan had tweeted that President Ram Nath Kovind had decided to pay one month’s salary in the PM Cares Fund. He has also appealed to all citizens to donate to defeat Covid-19. According to the tweet, “In view of his move, other employees of Rashtrapati Bhavan are also contributing to the PM-cares fund.”
