Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that no person should starve in the state. Food should be made available to every family as per the requirement.

The Chief Minister was reviewing the lockdown system at a high level meeting convened at his government residence here today. He said that all necessary arrangements should be made for the well-being of the migrant workers in the quarantine center / shelter. It should be ensured that proper arrangements are made in the quarantine center / shelter. Pure and adequate food should be made available to the migrant workers.

The Chief Minister said that the migrant workers should be brought back safely and respectfully. It should be ensured that no migrant workers travel by any unsafe means on foot, two-wheelers. Arrangements should be made to deliver them by safe means such as bus, train. He said that thermal scanning of migrant workers should be done at the Quarantine Center in the home district. From the point of view of corona, medical examination should be done through pool testing of suspected migrant workers. Those who are absolutely healthy should be provided safe home for home quarantine by providing ration kits. They should also be provided a maintenance allowance of Rs 1,000 during the home quarantine.

The Chief Minister said that it should be ensured that people go out only after putting on masks. He said that due to the smooth functioning of the supply chain during the lockdown, people are getting the necessary materials easily. It should be ensured that this system continues in an effective manner.
