New Delhi: An accused has been arrested for the brutal murder of a pregnant elephant in Palakkad district of Kerala. Giving information about this, State Forest Minister K Raju said that an accused has been arrested in the case related to the death of a pregnant elephant in Palakkad.
On Thursday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had said that the investigation teams are eyeing the three suspects. He also said that some people including Union ministers are using the incident to tarnish the image of the state. Vijayan said that strict action will be taken against those found guilty in the incident.
He had said that the Kerala Police and the Forest Department’s Crime Branch team investigating the incident visited the spot and gathered evidence. Justice will work and the guilty will be punished.
