Chief Minister launches Artificial Intelligence based Automatic Covid-19 Diagnostic Tool
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today launched Artificial Intelligence based automatic Covid-19 diagnostic tool at his government residence here. Under this, Covid-19 Artificial Intelligence based pre-screening of X-ray chest images is done, so that this infection can be detected in the patient.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that new research is needed to deal with health related challenges. He said that in view of the challenges faced by the entire world due to Covid-19, there is an opportunity for technical and medical institutions to develop devices that are helpful in the identification and treatment of diseases.
The Chief Minister said that intensive research is needed to develop vaccines of corona, ae, dengi, swine flu etc. in the field of medicine. The need for a multi modal device incorporating various devices such as oximeter, thermometer etc. will be realized in future. Therefore, researchers in the medical field should work on developing a combined device by connecting different devices.
Regarding the Artificial Intelligence based automatic Covid-19 diagnostic tool, the Chief Minister said that this device can prove to be helpful in fighting the corona. This is a good effort. In this, arrangements should also be made to alert people. He instructed Principal Secretary Medical and Health and Principal Secretary Medical Education to make digital X-rays of patients’ chests in various hospitals available to researchers for use in this tool.
