New Delhi: Farmers’ agitation against agricultural laws continues in Delhi. Meanwhile, a meeting of the central government with protesting farmers’ organizations on January 19 has been postponed. Now this meeting will be held on 20 January. This meeting will take place at 2 pm on Wednesday. At the same time, the Supreme Court said on Monday that it is the job of the police to decide whether to allow farmers to take out a tractor rally. In such a situation, the tractor march of farmers will be held on Republic Day, on which the ball is seen going in the hands of Delhi Police. However, the case will be heard again in court on Wednesday. Delhi Police has filed a petition in the court regarding the tractor march.
A meeting was held with Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police SS Yadav and Additional DCP farmer leaders on the Singhu border. The Delhi Police has asked the delegates to tell them about the plan of the rally. Farmers organizations said on Sunday that they would take out a tractor rally on Outer Ring Road in Delhi which would be 50 km long. Earlier in the day, the Attorney General told the CJI that such a rally cannot be held on January 26, but the Supreme Court refused to pass any order to stop the rally.
