Bhopal (MP): A 23-year-old man who eloped with a woman of another community nearly a month ago was brutally beaten up at Lalgaon village in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara district on September 15, the police said on Thursday. The incident came to light after a video clip of the incident went viral on social media on Tuesday.
The video clip shows that the men and women of a particular community were brutally beating up the man who had eloped with the girl. The incident occurred on September 15, when the man, with his parents, was on their way to see a relative in Auraiya village. When some people found them, they attacked the man and his parents. According to the police, they registered a case against the attackers and arrested four of them.
