Bhopal: A man got into police custody for his shameless act of peeping into the washroom of a government-run girls’ hostel in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh, official sources said on Saturday. Scared of the incident, the girl lodged a complaint at the police station, saying that they had noticed the similar incident in the past too, but failed to identify the culprit.
Additional superintendent of police Vikram Singh confirmed the complaint made by the girls about a person who peeped into their toilets and the arrest of the accused who was identified with the help of a CCTV camera installed at a grocery shop near the hostel. The culprit has been identified as Nitesh Karosia.
Immediately after the female students filed the complaint, the police began to search for the culprit who fell into their dragnet. Cases have been registered against the man under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the police said.
