As is customary, Ayodhya has been decked up for the upcoming Diwali celebration. A lot of attention has been paid to Lord Rama banners and posters that have been put up across the city.

At this year’s stunning Deepotsav in Ayodhya before Diwali, more than 21 lakh lights will be lighted. Ramlila will put on a laser show and let off fireworks in honor of this occasion. The city of Ayodhya has started getting ready for the approaching celebrations in a big way. A local of Ayodhya said, “Big posters and banners have been put up at some places, and work is going smoothly.”

The streets are lined with banner poles representing stories from the Ramcharitra Manas and other events from the life of Lord Ram. Banner posters detailing the Sunderkand, the Ayodhya, and similar events can be seen around the city. Crews are also working diligently to install underground lighting along the roadways simultaneously. The route will be accessible by dispersed cables in the following days.

As is customary, we have been watching the preparations for this year’s Festival of Lights in Ayodhya. This city has traditionally been considered the land of the gods, with great anticipation. The view was shared by a second local of Ayodhya, who said, “Today is a great day for our city and our country.”

Verses from the Ramcharitra Manas accompany banners depicting pivotal events in Lord Ram’s life. The history of Ayodhya and the Sunderkand are detailed on these posters. The installation of underground lighting across the streets is also proceeding to offer a more streamlined look devoid of obtrusive wires.
