Bhopal: The police are yet to unravel the mystery behind the death of an engineering student whose body was found on railway tracks in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh nearly a week ago. Another engineering student was found dead on the institute’s campus where he studied, the police said on Saturday. The body of 22-year-old Uddeshya Ahirwar was found hanging from the branch of a tree on the campus of the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT). Ahirwar was a resident of Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh.

According to the Kamala Nagar police station Anil Vajpayee was studying at the institute and staying in a hostel of the college. He said that the body had been sent for a post-mortem and an investigation into the case began.

The body of Nishank Rathore, a student of a technical institute in Bhopal, was found cut into two pieces on railway tracks in Barkhedi-Midghat area, Raisen district on July 24. The police said that Rathore had committed suicide. But his parents believe he had been murdered.
