NationalAditya Thackeray to meet Tejashwi Yadav in Patna on Wednesday

Mumbai: Indian politics seems to be taking a new turn and that has become evident after Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (SS-UBT) leader and former minister Aditya Thackeray decided to meet Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav in Patna on Wednesday, sources said on Tuesday.

Nevertheless, the SS-UBT sources said that the meeting would be a courtesy call on the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader. Son of former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya, will be accompanied by two party MPs – Anil Desai and Priyanka Chaturvedi and other office-bearers – at the meeting.

The party leaders have, however, refused to say anything about whether they would discuss any political agenda.

Although some media houses are trying to show that the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi is facing some problems after Rahul Gandhi’s remark on VD Savarkar, Sena-UBT’s chief spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that he would join the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra at a later state – maybe when the Yatra reaches its Kashmir leg.

Raut’s decision came after Rahul Gandhi called up Raut to enquire after his health on Sunday. Rahul reported said that he was worried about Raut’s health. Raut acknowledge Rahul’s gesture and said such a nicety has become rare these days.
