New Delhi: 7 Central Reserve Security Force (CRPF) personnel have been found corona positive in Assam. State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma said this. He said on Wednesday that 7 out of 10 corona positives have been found to be CRPF. Earlier on Tuesday, Corona was confirmed among the 12 jawans of CRPF in one day. After which the total number of infected people was 47. This number has increased to 54 after the corona positive jawans found in Assam. Let me tell, 37 cases of corona have been confirmed in Assam so far. Out of which 7 are active cases.
Earlier on Tuesday, the 55-year-old jawan died due to corona virus. This information was given by the CRPF officer on Tuesday. Sub-Inspector rank officer was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi after being corona positive recently, where he died. This is the first death among paramilitary forces working under the Union Home Ministry. About 10 lakh soldiers are working in the paramilitary force.
