A shocking murder case has come to light from Satna in Madhya Pradesh, where an 11-year-old boy was found dead inside a plastic drum in his house.
The incident came to light on Monday when the boy’s mother, Asha, returned home with her daughter. They found the door locked from outside, but the lights and cooler were still on inside, which made them suspicious.
When there was no response from the boy, Asha became worried and started searching for him. After not finding him anywhere, she approached the police and filed a complaint.
Police reached the spot and broke open the lock. Inside the house, they found blood stains on the walls and a pillow. A blue plastic drum kept in the room caught attention as blood was seen leaking from it.
When the drum was opened, the body of the child was found inside. His throat had been slit and the body was hidden under clothes.
The family suspects a local laundry shop owner, Mathura Rajak, who is currently missing. They claim he had been pressuring Asha for marriage and may have committed the crime after being rejected.
The police have formed three teams to search for the accused. Forensic experts have collected evidence from the scene, and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
Police officials said a sharp weapon was used in the murder. The investigation is ongoing, and further action will be taken based on evidence and statements.
