Yes, you read it right! Decorated without any harmful colour or items, the diyas are being created by a group of women who work in a Rajasthan’s cowshed.
Not only are the diyas eco-friendly but they also support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vocal for Local initiative.
More than 100 women in the cowshed are working on to make 1,000 pieces of diyas each day.
So, let’s use local products this Diwali and don’t forget to check out if these diyas are available on any shopping website or your nearby local store once you start shopping for Diwali this year.
