Most of the time, women complain that they are overweight or obese or they want a thin figure like the celebrities because they perceive that is the right way of living. But honestly not! Being an overweight woman, I can tell you from my experience that weight is just a number that people like to ask you and talk about it and make you feel low.
You can predict your ideal weight by doing calculation as per your height and come to a conclusion that you want to achieve an YZ number of weight by this year or next year and even work towards the same, but most importantly you should understand that following a healthy lifestyle for your body and mind is important.
Forget about the weight gain or weight loss but what you eat, what you think, and what you do is what matters the most. Say for example, if you eat gulab jamuns every day and have a sedentary lifestyle and you think that joining a gym or doing rigorous exercise can help you lose all those extra calories and burn those fats, then you are absolutely going in the wrong direction. You may achieve a weight loss with extreme exercises or gymming but remember once you stop going to the gym, you will gain more kilograms and that will make you more nervous and afraid about the way your body is reacting.
So, it is important to strike a balance between the right food, good quality sleep, positive thoughts, and exercising in the right manner that suits your body. For example, if you feel lighter and good when you walk, then do it. If you feel good and fresh when you run then go for it. If you are feeling more confident when you dance then go ahead.
If you feel happy when you do housework alone then just keep doing the same. Anything that makes you happy and keeps you interested in the long run is what is the ideal form of exercise that should be followed on a regular basis. Also, meditation or simply listening to soothing music every day can help you keep calm and stay away from worries, anger, and fear, which will help to balance your body and mind.
