Being in the city for the last 30 years, I have heard many stories from people who lived in Andheri and Harbour line side of Mumbai. Like they would narrate to me that when they used to visit Dombivli some 40 years back, it looked like a forest area with very few shops and amenities. Dombivli lies on the mainline of Central Railways and almost sees 3 lakhs commuters traveling in the local train on a daily basis for their work or college purposes.
