Tips to maintain a clean home amid coronavirus outbreak

Coronavirus is in the town and probably all over the world. The pandemic has made it mandatory for everyone to wear masks while venturing out of the house. Also, there are many guidelines that needs to be followed like social distancing measures, staying hygienic etc to curb the spread of the virus.

As sanitisation workers are ensuring to keep your city clean, you also need to put some efforts to keep your house clean and tidy. As all family members will be staying at the home throughout the day and night, living in a clean and neat house can create a good atmosphere at home.

Here are some tips to keep your home clean:

1) Make your bed:
Making your bed by changing bedsheets and pillow covers once in every 3-4 days can ensure that the bed where you sit and sleep is not dusty.

2) Wash your clothes every day:
As you wear washed clothes everyday, it is important to do laundry everyday. If you have a washing machine, then ensure to put all the napkins, dresses, clothes, towels etc. in it and get it washed and dried well. If you don’t have a washing machine, then you can share the washing clothes work among family members.

3) Be satisfied with clean enough:
You may be a perfectionist at every work you do. But cleaning your house doesn’t mean every small thing should be in order. If you have small children, chances are that they may ignore you and keep things wherever they want. It’s okay. Keeping your home clean is an idea to stay away from any infections and germs that may arise. Even if you arrange things of the house once in a week or in 15 days, that’s fine.

Last but not the least, involve your family members while setting cleaning goals. You may live in a 1/2/3 BHK, it doesn’t matter. What matters is how you maintain the house. You can consider assigning some cleaning tasks to every family member depending on their time and skills, if you cannot manage all things alone.
