Have you registered on the COWIN portal and got yourself vaccinated? If not both the doses, then at least one dose of vaccine against the coronavirus. If not even one dose, then don’t worry, your turn will surely come. Keep checking the Cowin website to get the list of your nearest vaccination center and get your slot accordingly.

In case you have been vaccinated recently and are feeling low for some days, then there is nothing to worry about as feeling tiredness, headache or body ache, fever, vomiting feelings, and an uneasy feeling in any part of the body is believed to some sort of side-effects due to the vaccine against the coronavirus disease. Getting panicked will increase your pain more and make you feel low for more days.

Follow what the medical professionals tell you at the vaccine center to take any medicines for the side effects. Or you can consult your family doctor as soon you feel the side effects. Apart from these, you need to make sure that you are drinking water at regular intervals. You can also drink coconut water, fruit juice to stay hydrated.

As you are vaccinated, your immune system is creating antibodies within your body to protect you and help you fight against the coronavirus disease. So, you need rest to let the vaccine do its work. Do not strain yourself with any extra or unnecessary work. You can carry on with your daily chores but only to a limited extent. Encourage your family members to do their work so that you get enough time to rest in the afternoon and sleep early at night.

If you feel pain in your injection area, then apply an ice pack as it will help soothe the pain. You should also eat healthy foods and fruits so that the vaccine does its work and your immune system becomes stronger. If you are not feeling better even after 3 days of vaccination, then immediately talk to your doctor and get the needed medicines to recover soon and well.
