New Delhi: CBSE 12th board examinations have been canceled. The decision was taken after a high-level meeting chaired by PM Modi on Monday. The central government has decided that there will be no CBSE board exams of class 12th this year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed about this decision after a high-level meeting. PM Modi said that keeping in mind the interests of the students, it has been decided not to conduct CBSE 12th examination. PM Modi said that the health and safety of students is the most important and it cannot be compromised at all.
PM Modi said, it is necessary to eliminate the uneasiness inside children, parents and teachers. Students should not be forced to enter the exam. In a statement from the government, it was said that in view of the atmosphere of uncertainty regarding Covid-19, various parties were consulted regarding the CBSE examination. The Prime Minister said that this is a decision taken keeping in mind the interests of the students. The academic calendar of students has been managed due to covid-19. The issue of board exam has been causing a lot of anxiety among the children. Therefore, examinations are canceled keeping in mind the children, parents and teachers.
After considering this, it has been decided not to hold CBSE 12th board examinations this year. It has also been decided that CBSE will prepare a very clear criteria and arrange to prepare the result of the students of class 12th in a time bound manner.
