PCOS affects about 26-27 percent of women globally, with 80 percent of obese women and 20% of women with a slim body suffering from it.
Missed, irregular, infrequent, or prolonged periods are indications of PCOS, as are excess androgens, which cause acne and unsightly body and facial hair in girls. It raises the risk of various health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure, darker skin or extra skin on the neck or armpits, mood swings, pelvic pain, and/or weight gain, however cysts on the ovaries are not present in all women with PCOS.
As many young girls suffer from this hormonal illness, here we come up with three weight-loss recommendations for PCOS patients:
Start adding nutrients in your diet
Reduced levels of male hormones and male pattern hair, regular periods, and lower cholesterol are all benefits of eating a nutritious diet rich in fibre, healthy fats, and protein, as well as avoiding processed foods.
Involve more in physical activity
Physical activity improves insulin sensitivity, reducing the risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Insulin sensitivity is improved, cholesterol is lowered, sleep is improved, weight reduction is promoted, and hormones are regulated with 30 to 45 minutes of moderate exercise per day.

Follow a good sleep pattern
Getting a good night’s sleep is critical for people with PCOS. Good sleep habits can support mental health, immune health, and blood sugar levels that are healthy.
Maintaining a healthy weight reduces insulin resistance by half, increases fertility, restores ovulation, controls the menstrual cycle, and boosts mental health.
