Significance of Navratri festival 2020, Day 4

The fourth day of Navratri festival falls on 20th October 2020. The day is dedicated to Maa Kushmanda who is the fourth form of NavaDurga.

Maa Kushmanda is believed to end the darkness and have formed the world with her divine smile. Her name Kushmanda has a deep meaning. Ku means a little, Ushma means warmth or energy and Anda means cosmic egg.

Maa Kushmanda is said to provide strength, health and wealth to her devotees. she is also called as Ashtabhuja Devi.

Mantra of Maa Kushmanda Puja:
Om Devi Kushmandayai Namah,

Surasampurna Kalasham Rudhiraplutameva Cha,
Dadhana Hastapadmabhyam Kushmanda Shubhadastu Me.

Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu Maa Kushmanda Rupena Samsthita,
Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah.

Color of clothes / saree to wear on the fourth day of Navratri is Royal Blue.
