We as human beings have evolved a lot. I remember my parents used to tell me when I was a child that they grew up in a joint family with 9 to 10 members living in one home and the facilities were just having a roof over their head and food to eat twice a day. There were no mobile phones or electronic gadgets at that time and they could pass only class 10 in their lives because of lack of funds.
The above scenario was back in the 1950s and now in the 2020s, we have everything that we want in our lives, a house with just a few members, a television set to keep us entertained, a laptop to help us do our office work, and enough funds to at least help us get educated till graduation level and earn a good living with a basic paying job. The evolution that human beings have gone through in the last 70 years is from human-to-human relationships to human-to-technology relations.
Like now my mother is comfortable speaking on a video call with my elder brother who stays in another city for his job purpose, which facility was obviously not available 50 years back when my dad came to another city for his job and his mother stayed in a village with no communication, except for letters. Making a phone call was quite expensive those days. So, as we are now transitioning to a more technological era, the coronavirus pandemic struck us in 2020 and 2021, making us realize the importance of NATURE.

Yes, it is nature through which we get the air, water, vegetables, fruits, and is because of nature’s abundance only that we are growing and advancing to create a brighter future. But let’s not forget the nature as we saw how people struggled due to lack of oxygen and how lakhs of people every day are getting admitted in the hospitals due to the coronavirus infection. So, the moral of this entire story, let us plant at least one tree and encourage all our friends and relatives to plant one tree and nurture it. You never know when this small seed will grow into a beautiful plant and save lives of the future generations in the unimaginable ways possible. So, let’s strengthen our relations by adopting a more natural lifestyle over artificial products and support more social causes that try to make this planet a greener place to live in.
