Kolkata’s Gurudwara is winning praises for feeding thousands amid coronavirus lockdown

Behala Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee in partnership with the Indian Humanitarian Association is providing food to 4,500 persons each day since the last 50 days of coronavirus lockdown.

The food is being prepared in a community kitchen arranged temporarily where women prepare pure veg food that can be distributed among the poor and needy people.

Due to the coronavirus lockdown, many poor people are left without food and home. This Gurudwara in Kolkata made the efforts to provide the same to the homeless and ensure that thousands of people don’t sleep without food intake.
