How to get back to your life on track

Going through a tough time due to the pandemic? Or your spouse just decided not to talk to you and socially distance yourself till the pandemic gets over? Or your boss asked you to search for another job as he is facing severe business losses? Whatever may be the situation, the fact is in today’s coronavirus times, everyone is going through one or major multiple problems in their lives and it is evident from small children to elderly people, no one is spared or living happily to the fullest in such gloomy times.

1) Instead of blaming the ministers or the government or the municipal officials of your area or the scientists or anyone who you have believed to be the devil of your life, let us understand that life is this way because it is destined to be. Now it doesn’t me you take all the blame and start putting yourself down. Stop the blame game and try to be at peace with whatever situation you are having right now.

2) We cannot change the past and we cannot bring the future in the present moment. The reality is you have to live the present moment as it is without losing hope and patience.

3) Do not beat yourself up or do not take extreme decisions because life is being unfair to you. If you have a marital or relationship issue, either sort it out or take a break, it doesn’t mean that you are running away from your problems, it only means that you want a pause to figure out how you can take the future ahead.

4) If you have lost a special one in the coronavirus pandemic or due to some illness, then allow yourself to grieve. If crying helps you to relieve your stressors, then do it. But don’t cry to the level of going under depression. Talk to someone with whom you feel comfortable and release all your worries.

5) Get on with life and keep moving forward. You cannot keep stuck there itself but you need to take steps to change your current situation even if it is slowly and even if you are making baby steps that are fine. Slow progress is also good.
