Fed up with mental torture by wife, in-laws man ends life
As we talk about mental health, we know that it is not an easy road to live life for people suffering from mental ailments. Stress, depression, anxiety have become common illnesses that people nowadays are suffering from in all age groups. So, if it is a kid who is appearing for the exams, he is anxious about whether he will pass or not. If it is a youngster who is working on a job, he is stressed by the workload. If it is a middle-aged or old person, he is afraid of death and separation from his family members and loved ones.
AAP alleges govt may charge for borewells in housing society in Gujarat
In this competitive world, it is next to impossible to even think of a person who is 100% mentally and physically fit. Because there will be some shortcoming in a person that doesn’t allow him to give his 100% to the journey called life. More or less, when anyone is asked what he wants to do in his life, then there will be a list of dreams and desires that he wants to fulfill so that he can be on the top of the ladder.
In such a scenario, why do we beat ourselves so much that whatever we have achieved in our life seems to be meaningless? It is really saddening to see people taking the extreme step of suicide when their work doesn’t make a noise in society. It is also hurting to see couples parting ways due to either of them or both of them having mental health issues. It is also worrisome to see people not being kind and patient enough with their own relationships, and material and spiritual wealth and trying to live in a trap of comparisons and competition.
Kindness is being compassionate and understanding towards the needs of self or others. When we are kind to others, why do we fail to be kind to our own self that also needs that ME time and a day out in the park? Why shy away from expressing to your partner that you need to stay separately and roam around the world for a couple of weeks or even a month because you want to discover your own self?
Why knowing about yourself well will help you to reduce the likeliness of developing a mental health issue? Sit with yourself for a day, learn more about what are you passionate about, do what you like to do, come out of the mind traps that stop you from progressing in life, and be more understanding towards yourself when you fail again and again at your small steps towards your endeavors. This small thing will surely make a huge difference in your life.
