As the festival of lights, Diwali is nearing, the government of Uttar Pradesh will launch a website that will allow people explore the online Deepotsav celebration on 13 November 2020.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the online celebration which will be held in Ayodhya’s Sri Ramlala Darbar.
The Uttar Pradesh government has come up with the idea of lighting up more than 5,50,000 physical diyas (lamps) on this occasion.
Thus, the website will make people enjoy the beautiful occasion virutally.
Last year, Ayodhya Deepotsav had lighted up 551,000 diyas on the festival of Diwali. However, this year, the record is hoped to be broken after the foundation stone for Ram Temple was laid in August 2020.
