Headaches are unavoidable! You also require headache cures, particularly home remedies. They can cause a lot of trouble, making it difficult to get any work done or simply operate as a person. Imagine going about your day as usual when a sudden twang in your skull transforms into the monster you’ve always feared? Does this ring a bell?

Don’t worry, we’ve got a few solutions for you to try out the next time you’re hit. And if you are adamant about not taking drugs unless they are really required, here are a few things you can do to relieve a headache instead.
- If you have a history of headaches, stay hydrated at all times as a preventative step. Drink 2 litres of water per day and eat water-rich foods.
- Take a ginger supplement or make a cup of ginger tea. Diluted ginger oil can also be massaged into the temples, forehead, neck, and even back.
- If you’re a coffee drinker, try some decaf; it’s usually not fully caffeine-free and might just do the trick.
- Take a nap after taking the caffeine; you’ll be able to snooze while the caffeine makes its way into your system, and you’ll have a two-fold defence when you wake up.
- A gel compress, ice cubes wrapped in a towel, or a bag of frozen veggies are all options. Keep the compress on your head for 15 minutes before taking a 15-minute rest.
