The Lok Sabha MP and Trinamool Congress leader ( TMC ), Mahua Moitra, parliament account was accessed from Dubai 47 times. The BJP party, Bharatiya Janata Party, led the security breach alert.

The revelation comes on the day before the leader of TMC scheduled an appearance before the ethics committee of Lok Sabha. It investigates the allegations of ” Cash for query” made by Supreme Court lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai.

What the Mahua Moitra admit

In the interview, Mahua Moitra admitted that she shared the login information with one of the businessmen, Darshan Hiranandani. He is a close friend of Mahua Moitra. But at the same time, she also denied that she had any financial motive raised by her account.

Based on the dehydration allegation, the MP of the BJP party, Nishikant Dubey, wrote to the speaker of Lok Sabha, Om Birla, and the ethics panel. It asserts that the TMC MP asks questions through parliamentary account, according to the instructions given by Businessman Darshan Hiranandani.

These actions were results in exchange for monetary benefits and rewards from Hiranandani. It is associated with statements from a business family from Dubai, said Dubey in the letter. Nishikant Dubey also points out that Hiranandani gave cash to Mahua Moitra to raise questions against PM Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha leader Gautam Adani.

On the ” Cash for query” charge against Mahua Moitra, her advocate said I can say about anyone who made the 47 login attempts to the parliament account. It is a free country, and anybody can say what they like. I will come out and explain everything that happened, said Mahua Moitra’s advocate.
