Washington: Speaker of the US Congress (Parliament) House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi has spoken to the military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Miley to prevent outgoing President Donald Trump from acquiring nuclear launch codes and starting any military action.
Ms. Pelosi gave this information in a letter to Democratic Party MPs.
She said, “This morning I discussed with the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Miley on the issue of taking precautions to prevent a troubled president from initiating military action, accessing launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike.”
