Harrison Ford mourns the demise of Sean Connery

The legendary Hollywood actor Sean Connery died at the age of 90 on Saturday at his residence in the Bahamas.

American actor Harrison Ford mourned the demise of Sean Connery who had played the role of Ford’s father in 1989’s Indiana Jones.

“He was my father … not in life … but in Indy 3,” Ford had stated in a media report.

According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, Ford was quoted saying, “You don’t know pleasure until someone pays you to take Sean Connery for a ride in the sidecar of a Russian motorcycle bouncing along a bumpy, twisty mountain trail and getting to watch him squirm. God we had fun — if he’s in heaven, I hope they have golf courses. Rest in peace dear friend.”

Sir Thomas Sean Connery was a Scottish actor who became renowned for being the first actor to play the character of a fictional British secret agent James Bond and thus, he was featured in seven Bond films between 1962 and 1983. He was survived by his son Jason Connery.

Apart from acting, Harrison Ford also worked as a pilot, and environmental activist in his career.

He is one of the top 5 highest-grossing domestic box office stars of all time.
