British actress Diana Rigg renowned for her work in 1960s TV show The Avengers has passed away on Thursday.
The beautiful actress who had also performed in the recent Game of Thrones, died at the age of 82.
Diana was born and brought up in England. She had worked in theatre for a long time and she had also performed in James Bond film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
Her daughter Rachael Stirling shared how her mother died peacefully in her sleep early in this morning at home and surrounded by her family.
Diana was diagnosed with cancer in March and spent the remaining months in the most beautiful way with lot of love, laughter and a deep pride in her profession, said her daughter.
