In the wake of African-American man George Floyd who died recently in police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US, Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has come forward to support a cause.
He has donated $1 million to anti-racism charity, Color of Change.
The move comes after it was reported that Brad’s ex-wife, actress Jennifer Aniston has donated $1 million to the same racial justice organisation after feeling deeply about Floyd’s death.
A source to the media that both Jen and Brad are passionate individuals who want to help people as much as they can.
Color of Change is the widespread online racial justice organisation in the US, which aims to end “practices that unfairly hold black people back”.
Brad and Jennifer were a power-couple during their marriage days. They got married in 2000 in a private wedding ceremony and parted ways in 2005. Later, Brad married top Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie and divorced her in 2019. Brad and Angelina have six children together, three of whom were adopted internationally.
