Why you need to slowdown in this lockdown period

Yes you cannot move outside the way you used to do a couple of months back. Yes, you cannot go to your office and work. Yes, you cannot attend your school or college till further notice. Life is not normal anymore. We all are locked down in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus infection all over the world. In a way, our social distancing measures and staying hygienic is helping the world to heal. Isn’t that a good thing we are doing?

Now let’s discuss why slowing down is the right way to lead a good life in this locked down period. Sharing some benefits of slowdown below:

1) Slowdown is good for your health. Have you ever followed taking eight hours of sleep night before? No, probably because you had to run for the work. Now as you are not spending your time travelling, getting good quality sleep can help you think clearly and work better.

2) Slowdown can make you more likeable. Who likes to live with a complaining partner or parent? Taking enough rest can help you become less cranky and more appreciative for things around you.

3) Slowdown can help you focus on what is important in your life. As no malls, theatres, shops are open, you will realize that your busy, hectic schedule is no more there. You are spending your time in a proper way and making use of it by doing only what is required the most to lead a good life i.e. eating home-made food, buying essential items, doing office work from home, watching something entertaining and spending time with your family.
