Lucknow. The news of five children getting covid positive in two private schools of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh have created ripples and panic in the district administration. The school administration has closed the school for the next 3 days. Along with the precautionary measures both the schools and the nearby areas were deeply sanitized to check the spread of the coronavirus outbreak. Along with the five children, many others who came into contact were asked to be isolated. District health dept has started Covid-19 counseling center from today.

According to the information, five school children of two private schools in the trans-Hindon area of Ghaziabad district have been found Covid infected. Since then a holiday has been declared in both the schools. Schools will be shut and online classes are allowed till April 19. The Covid19 infection has been confirmed in two students of a private school located in Abhaykhand-3 area also The school administration has informed that the students of junior and senior classes will now study online.The school will now open on April 19 due to long holidays.
Apart from this, the covid infection has also been confirmed in three students in a private school in Vaishali. After the information was received from the parents, the school has been closed for two days. Chief Medical Officer, Bhavtosh Shankhdhar said that both the schools have been sanitized. The district administration has pressed for a speedy vaccination program for 12 to 14 and 15 to 17-year old children in schools. Along with this, the Guardian has been asked to follow the necessary Covid protocol and keep observing their children.
Covid cases are emerging once again in the country after a gap of nearly two months. Earlier, the UP govt has lifted all the Covid-19 curbs and allowed the schools to function in full capacity.
