New Delhi: The number of monkeypox cases has gone up to five in Delhi after another case was reported from the national capital, official sources said on Saturday. He said that the swab sample of a 22-year-old woman was tested positive.

He said that the sample of a 22-year-old woman tested positive on Friday and she was undergoing treatment at the Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan Hospital, he said, adding that a patient has been admitted to the hospital and her swab samples tested positive. Another patient was discharged from the hospital. The government has set up a task force to monitor the monkeypox cases and to stop the spread of the disease.
