Delhi: Sharp decline in new corona cases

New Delhi: There has been a continuous decline in new cases of corona in Delhi for some time. According to the data released on Saturday, there have been 6,430 new cases of corona in Delhi in the last 24 hours. During this time, 337 patients have died due to infection.

The Health Department said that on April 7, 5506 new cases were reported. So far 13,87,411 cases of infection have been reported in the capital and 21,244 people have died.

In Delhi, the rate of infection has also declined. In the last 24 hours, the positivity rate has come down to 11.32 percent. The infection rate is the lowest since April 11. The number of active patients has dropped to 66 thousand, the lowest since April 16.

According to the Health Department, 11,592 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours whereas a total of 12,99,872 patients have recovered from the infection so far. Talking about the recovery rate, it is at 93.69 percent while the active patients are 4.77 percent. The death rate from Corona is 1.53 percent.
