The shadow of Corona is also seen falling on Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra. The famous Chardham Yatra of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand has been postponed to 2021 in view of the rising outbreak of Corona. However, the doors of the temples will open on their own time.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat held a high-level meeting today on the Chardham Yatra in which apart from officials, Tourism and Religious Affairs Minister Satpal Maharaj was also present. In the meeting, it has been decided to postpone the Chardham Yatra which starts in the second week of May due to Covid.
Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that all the temples of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamanotri will be opened at the fixed Muhurta, there will be regular worship, but there will be a ban on the visit of devotees.
For this, the pilgrims coming there are being told not to come yet for the Covid epidemic not to reach the mountains. The trip will be reconsidered once the situation recovers. At the same time, the visit of Shri Hemkund Sahib Gurdwara has also been postponed, which was to begin from May 10.
