US presidential election: tough fight between Biden and Trump, Democrats on edge

Washington: Former Vice President and Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden is still leading in the United States presidential election vote, but now the gap between President and Republican candidate Donald Trump has been reduced.

According to Fox News, out of 538 ‘Electoral College seats’, Biden has won 238 and trump 213. According to CNN, Biden won 220 and Trump won 213 ‘Electoral College seats’.

According to the New York Times, Biden won 223 and Trump won 212. To reach the White House, one has to win at least 270 ‘electoral college seats’. According to the latest report, Trump is leading in important ‘Battleground’ states Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan. Biden continues to lead in Arizona and Minneapolis.

Biden has won in New Jersey and New York. In New York, Biden received 2.2 million votes and Trump received 1.2 million votes. The New York Times reported that the former vice president has won in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Vermont and Virginia. While President Trump is leading in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, West Virginia, Wyoming, Indiana, and South Carolina.
