The Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath who visited Allahabad to his tribute to the departed soul, kept mum on this issue which was obvious as it was not even 24 hour when the shocking and disturbing news of the demise of saint came to the fore. However despite the assertion of CM that culprits will not be spared the demand for a CBI probe is also gaining momentum mainly from the saint fraternity. And in all likelihood this demand will intensified in near future.

It is now a well known fact that wealth movabable or immovabale is the prime cause of the death of the widely respected sheer and the prime suspects are locals and those who have or had vicinity to him, the investigation is expected to be carried out in most impartial manner. The prime accused and Mahant’s disciple Anand Giri had even raised accusing finger on local police officers which will surely leave a shadow of doubt on investigation.
Those who were keeping close watch on the development point out about the scanning of those who found the hanging body and pulled it. ”Why they did not inform police and wait for its arrival? And it is stll unclear whether door was locked from inside and it was broken to enter into or just pushed forcefully as it was not locked” pointed out a source.

Not only this, but there are several other aspects needed to be probed thoroughly and rapidly and track record of state police does not seem very promising on this count which may pave the way for CBI probe sooner than later.
