Sambhal: There has been a major road accident in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. Due to fog, there has been a fierce collision between a tanker and a roadways bus this morning. The death of 8 people is reported in this accident. While more than 3 dozen people are said to be injured. Police and administrative officials have reached the spot after receiving information about the accident. The injured have been rescued and admitted to the hospital.
It is being told that this road accident happened in Dhanari police station area on Moradabad-Agra road in Sambhal district this morning. Due to fog, drivers could not see the vehicles, due to which there was a face-to-face collision between the gas tanker and the roadways bus. So far 8 people have been reported dead in the accident.
After this incident there was a scream on the spot. The accident was so severe that half of the roadways bus was badly damaged. Police and administration officials have also reached the spot. With the help of the local people, the police rescued the injured and they have been admitted to the hospital. The condition of many people is said to be critical.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over this accident in Sambhal. He has directed the officials to reach the spot immediately and provide relief work. Apart from this, the Chief Minister has given all possible help to the victims.
