As part of its Skill Development Mission, the Uttar Pradesh government announced distributing one lakh tablets free of charge to the state’s skilled employees. According to the administration, the measure would assist skilled employees in honing their talents and performing better in their professions.
The Yogi administration claims that its online portal sewamitra.up.gov.in, app, and contact center 155330 provide a wide range of services to the general public on the one hand and skilled individuals on the other. As part of the State Government’s Skill Development Mission, skilled employees may apply for jobs through the portal, supporting their training to enhance their abilities. CM Yogi has previously given orders to the authorities to link individuals in the bottom rung of society with the Skill Development Mission to provide jobs.

The government has established the Seva Mitra service in 25 districts as part of its ongoing effort to elevate people, intending to give employment to more skilled employees through the Labour Department. The service is presently being tested and will be rolled out to the remaining districts soon. In addition, a 50-seat call center has been established in this respect.
Kunal Silku, Director of the Skill Development Mission, praised it as an outstanding government service for the general public and skilled employees. One of the service’s unique features is that the supplier’s name and the rate are shown on the screen as soon as a customer books a service. The service would most likely be launched in the remaining districts soon, according to the Chief Minister.
