New Delhi: Many Congress leaders, including Priyanka Gandhi, were taken into custody on Thursday during Congress’s efforts to take out a march in support of the ongoing farmers’ agitation on agricultural laws and to meet the President. On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi attacked the Modi government of the center and said that ‘democracy is no longer in India, if you think it is, then it is now just in your imagination.’

Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government, Rahul Gandhi said that ‘democracy is no longer in India and those who stand against the PM will be called terrorists, even if they are Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat. ‘

Rahul Gandhi was carrying out a march from Vijay Chowk to Rashtrapati Bhavan with Congress leaders in support of the farmers’ movement. During this time, the police stopped their march first, then many party leaders including Priyanka Gandhi were taken into custody. However, Rahul was allowed to meet the President along with some leaders.
