On Sunday, a minister in Maharashtra has come up with an offer for the CEO of Tesla Mr. Elon Musk to set up business in the west Indian state. This announcement comes just a day after his counterpart in Telangana made a somewhat similar proposal. The offers have come at a time when the maverick billionaire American businessman shared a tweet about the problems that his electric car-making company was going through while dealing with the government of India.

Jayant who represents the Nationalist Congress Party – NCP was just 2 days late in coming up with a similar proposal that had come from the urban development minister of Telangana KT Rama Rao who is also the son of Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
“Hey Elon, I am the Industry & Commerce Minister of Telangana state in India. Will be happy to partner with Tesla in working through the challenges to set shop in India/Telangana. Our state is a champion in sustainability initiatives & a top-notch business destination in India,” the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief had written on Twitter.
Just a few days back, it was when Musk replied to a Twitter user that his company’s business plans in India are still going through many challenges with the government.
Nowadays, most of the official announcements and updates keep getting traction on the microblogging website Twitter itself. Twitter makes the conversations public and thus, users and even common people are aware of the tweets and their related conversations.
