Rockets fired from Gaza land end up landing on Israel’s coast

The rockets that have been fired from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip on Saturday ended up landing in the Mediterranean Sea off-central Israel, said the Israeli military. There is no information on the number of casualties. It is not understood if the rockets were meant to hit Israel, however, the Gaza-based terrorist groups often test-fire missiles towards the sea.

After AUKUS, US-Aus partnership to launch rockets into space

The 11-day war between Israel and Hamas in May came to an end and there has been no cross-border rocket fire since then. As per the protocol, no sirens were sounded and no interception took place said the Israeli army in a statement and also shared that the rockets fell off the coast of the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area. It was around 7 am when the people in Gaza witnessed this incident by waking up to the sound of outgoing missiles. Immediately, there were many photos that got shared on social media showing the traces of white smoke from the launching area.

As per the police officials, there are no reports of damage or injuries. The armed forces in Gaza are of the opinion that the rocket fire has been caused due to the weather conditions. However, many media outlets claim that this is not the first time the excuse of weather has been used to give reasons for the firing of projectiles towards Israel. Earlier also, terror groups have shared that lightning strikes were held liable for releasing the rockets.

Thus, the military officials in order to protect the farmers have asked them to stay away from the land and maintain a distance from the Gaza border. The lightly injured Israeli main was an employee of a civilian company that was recruited by the Defense Ministry for maintaining the recently achieved security barrier that separates Israel and the Palestinian enclave.
