So here we present a list of the bank holidays that have been released by the Reserve Bank of India’s notification. Apart from these holidays that have been marked by the central government, the private and public sector banks also have set aside the holidays as per their state rules. Please note that the banks are also closed on 2nd and 4th Saturdays.

The bank with whom you have the account may or may not be working as per the above list due to certain work conditions. So, it is better to check your bank’s website or app to know if they are functioning on these holidays or not. It is advisable that you get the bank holidays list for the year 2022 directly from the bank so that you are aware of the same. Also, it will help you to plan in advance and not waste your travel time by visiting the branch and finding it shut.
