New Delhi: Due to the growing corona infection in the country, every state has announced a lockdown as well as other restrictions on the corona infection. In such a situation, the Ministry of Home Affairs has been receiving a complaint for some time that the movement of goods in many states is being stopped by the local administration.
This is the reason why Home Secretary of the Union Home Ministry Ajay Bhalla has written to all state chief secretaries that there should be no restriction on inter-state and inter-state movement of persons and goods. His letter states that any such ban violates the guidelines issued by the MHA.
Pointing out that the Unlock-3 ‘guidelines, Bhalla said that such restrictions create problems in interstate movement of goods and services and affect the supply chain. This creates a barrier to economic activity or employment.
