New Delhi: The Ghaziabad District Magistrate has instructed to vacate the place by opposing the three laws related to the new agriculture, ending the agitation that has been going on for the last 2 months at the Delhi-UP Ghazipur border. The administration has given an ultimatum to the farmers and asked them to vacate the dharna site by tonight. Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, Rakesh Tikait reached the Ghazipur border and addressed the farmers and made serious allegations against the UP administration.
Tikait has said directly that no space will be vacant. He said that do whatever you want to do. Police opened fire. We will have a shot but the place will not be empty. Now Rakesh Tikait has said to sit on hunger strike and leave food and water. They have said that if this law does not come back, I will commit suicide.
Rakesh Tikait has said in strict tone that the administration is committing hooliganism. If anything happens, it will be the responsibility of the administration. The officials are currently working on a plan on how to evacuate the place. The Uttar Pradesh government has instructed all the district magistrates and the police administration that wherever the agitation is being held in the state, it should be eliminated with immediate effect. A large number of police forces have been deployed along the Delhi-UP-Ghazipur border.
