Priyanka Gandhi also held talks with women laborers at Sadru Tea Estate during this period. The 126-member assembly in Assam will go to polls in three phases on March 27, April 1 and April 6. Election results will be announced on May 2. At present, the NDA government is here. The BJP contested 89 seats in the last election and won 60 seats. At the same time, Congress contested 122 seats and captured only 26 seats.
